One of the most magical and spectacular rituals of Galician culture and originating from the Celts, is the exorcism of evil spirits by means of the Conxuro da Queimada (Queimada Conjuration). This exorcism materialises in the tradition of the “Queimada”, a magical drink of fire, eau-de-vie, sugar, lemon and some grains of coffee, the preparation of which, in combination with the magical ritual of our warlock, becomes a succulent magic potion which as it goes down our throats frees us of all evil and all bewitchment. This potion is created by our “Bruxo” (warlock) who originates from the innermost, deepest parts of Galicia where his predecessors were already experts in the exorcism of evil eyes, spirits, etc...

As they lived in a place called “Alto da Pedreiriña” close to “Alto do Cerro”, where for the most part of the year there is a dense fog and a slight breeze, ideal for the journeying of spirits. During the winter, these ancestors would go out onto the mountain with the grazing cattle and cut wood, and to protect themselves from the cold they would prepare a “queimada” to better withstand the low temperatures and simultaneously ward off evil spirits. This is why, in a tradition carried forwards to today, this Bruxo, descendant of “Alto da Pedreiriña”, provides this spectacle for your party (Wedding, Communion, Company Event, etc...), during which you will be impressed and startled by this Maestro Queimador who in pronouncing the traditional conjuration, exorcises all evil spirits and brings forth good spirits full of positive energies.
